Putting parents first
Education is critical for a child’s future. As a father of three children who were homeschooled, Senator Budd strongly believes that parents, not federal officials in Washington, should be in control of their children’s education. Every parent in America should have the right to choose the best education for their child and know what their child is being taught in school.
As a former student at a public high school and college, Senator Budd recognizes the importance of what teachers do every day. That’s why Senator Budd supports the teaching of civics and U.S. history to reinforce the values that make America great.
