Tour Requests

Senator Budd and his staff are excited to welcome guests to Washington, D.C. Our office is happy to serve the people of North Carolina by helping schedule tours of the various sites around our nation’s capital.

The information below details touring sites that our office can assist in submitting requests for. Please keep in mind the required submission dates as well as the information needed for each site when planning your trip.

Please fill out the form below, and someone from our office will be in contact with you within 48 hours.

If you have any further questions, contact the Tour Coordinator at (202) 224-3154.

Capitol Tours

Our office is available for staff-led tours Monday–Friday, except Federal Holidays. We can accommodate up to 15 guests per staff person and will do our best to accommodate larger groups.

For Capitol tours over 50 people, including large school groups, please email budd_tours@budd.senate.gov.

Virtual Capitol Tours are being provided by the CVC and can be registered for HERE.

White House Tours

Tours are self-guided, typically last 45 minutes, and will generally be available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday–Thursday, as well as 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday (excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted). When possible, public tour hours will be extended based on the official White House schedule.

Reservations are required, and all requests should be submitted to our office at least 90 days before your planned visit to Washington, D.C., for the best chance of securing a tour. Please note that White House tour requests are not guaranteed. Once your group’s tour date has been requested by our office, you will receive a confirmation email from the White House to begin the security screening process, and you will have 72 hours to provide the required information. The White House will notify groups directly if their tour has been approved or denied.

Federal Bureau of Investigation

Constituents wishing to tour the FBI are required to submit requests through my office. Tours are offered Monday through Friday at the hours of 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. FBI tours may be scheduled at the earliest, five months in advance, and must be scheduled no later than four weeks before your requested tour date. At this time, the FBI Experience has limited the group size to 50 visitors per tour time. If your group is larger than 50, it will be split into two separate tour times. For example, with a group of 58, 50 guests can be scheduled for 1:00 p.m., and the remaining 8 guests can be scheduled at 2:00 p.m. The FBI Experience tour is designed to last between 60 and 90 minutes. In order to request an FBI Experience tour, our office must submit secure personal information on your group’s behalf. This includes but is not limited to: social security number, date of birth, etc. Please note that the FBI requires all non-U.S. citizens to provide their green card number and passport number upon submitting personal information for the required security screening process. The Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits the release of sensitive information without proper approval.
