Senator Budd Meets with Family of NC Hostage

Washington, D.C. — Prior to the State of the Union Address, Senator Ted Budd (R-NC) met with the family of Keith Siegel.

Keith Siegel is the North Carolina native who is among the six Americans still being held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

Keith’s sister Lucy and niece Hanna were guests of Senators Budd and Tillis and attended the speech.

Senator Budd said in a statement:

“It is an honor to host Lucy and Hanna Siegel as our guests for the State of the Union. Their resolve in the face of unimaginable pain is inspiring and serves as an example for others. The American people must not forget that our fellow citizens remain in harm’s way, and our government has a responsibility to bring them home. I will continue working as hard as I can to secure Keith Siegel’s freedom, and the freedom of all Americans held by Hamas terrorists.”
